In the attic of her Yorkshire farmhouse, broadcaster Selina Scott opens a battered leather suitcase containing treasured keepsakes. There are faded family photographs, including one of her as a little girl learning to walk on the beach at Scarborough, and mementos of her career in the public eye.
But most intriguing of all are photos of Selina with the Princess of Wales and personally signed letters from Diana bearing the royal crest and addressed to the former ITV news anchor.
