It might have been freezing outside, but Coach’s 75th anniversary was the hottest ticket in town this past winter in New York. The vibe was downtown but spirits were at an absolute high, as guests first took in the spectacular runway show in a space reminiscent of an LA motel, dotted with vintage cars. Then down came a giant disco ball, glittering with neon-lit signs of Coach’s mascot, Rexy the Dinosaur, as well as retro NASAinspired graphics, which were used as motifs in the collection. Lolawolf (fronted by Zoë Kravitz) and Mark Ronson’s playlists were an eclectic mix of hip hop, drum and bass, ’90s R&B and Motown classics. The guest list was even more diverse, as Hollywood royalty—Drew Barrymore, Hopper Penn, Riley Keough, Emma Roberts—and chiselled Angeleno celebutantes alike…
