BUG SOAPS

Making these creepy soaps is really easy and only requires a few materials. You can either buy melt-and-pour soap base from craft stores or melt down old clear soaps you already have at home. The soaps turn the water green when you wash your hands with them for added grossness.

YOU WILL NEED (MAKES 12 SOAPS) ● 2 lb (900 g) melt-and-pour soap base● Plastic bugs● Green food coloring● Silicone soap mold● Sharp knife● Microwavable dish● Toothpick● Palette knife 1. With the help of an adult, cut the melt-and-pour soap base into approximately 1 in (2.5 cm) chunks using a sharp knife. 2. Place into a microwavable dish and melt in 30-second bursts until the soap chunks are melted. 3. Use a toothpick to add a small amount of green food coloring and stir until the melted soap has turned green. 4.
