A series of solar flares has left the earth a dried out husk. The only liquids that survived are in glass or plastic containers. So there is a lot of liquor and a lot of guns. One man, The Drunken Master, had a death grip on his territory until his gun hand was crippled in a gunfight with El Roacho Rio. A bounty of 100 cases of water is put on the head of Rio.
The worst killers of the wasteland now are on the hunt for the prize. Nydia, former roller derby queen, Coffin Jack white, Ruby the Dyke, "Cop" Warren, a Tong Father and his men, Blackjack Morgan or The Blindman and his killer dog... Will anyone survive?

Book 2: Unhappy Hour. Blindman and friends are visited by two "old friends" from Riker's Island, a Mafia Don and his bodyguard. Members of Isis have survived and have gone on a killing spree to wipe out survivors. As frightened people seek refuge from the horror, Blindman has to get some "special" help to repel the invaders. A pyromaniac with a tanker full of gas, a demented priest and his nun, a sharpshooter with a 50-caliber rifle, two huge professional wrestlers, a kosher butcher, the fastest gun alive and the remaining members of The Hells Angels motorcycle gang. Things are going to get bloody.

Book 3: Last Call. A new threat is looming on the horizon. Fanatics have kept the former President alive as he has a rare disease and needs blood to survive. The fanatics run Barter Town and promise money or drugs to anyone who brings in fresh blood. One blood type could cure the President and only one man has it--the Blindman. Now the word is out: bring the Blindman to Barter Town. With traitors in his own ranks, Blindman and company set out to take down Barter Town and everyone in it. Will this truly be The Last Call?

Quotes:

"I wondered what would happen if you wrote some fiction. Impressive as you nailed it." -Jack Ketchum, author of The Lost, Off Season, and The Woman

"Peter, I see a movie in this, actually I see a couple of movies. Great storytelling." -Gary Klar, Steele from Day of the Dead

"A relentless story that, at times, makes you beg for mercy. Vivid, nightmarish, subversive and dripping with the vibes of the 42nd Street aura." -Cory Udler, writer/director of Incest Death Squad

"Gunfighters reads like cinema, like Mad Max only with balls. Where else can you hang with an army consisting of two men, six women and a dog called Dog? There is enough testosterone in these books to float an aircraft carrier. Just sayin." -Gary Kent, writer, actor and Stunt Man Hall of Famer
