Her search takes her to the Muse de la Shoah in Paris all the way down south to the French concentration camps of Rivesaltes and Argels-sur-mer. She ends up finding out that her grandfather, who was adopted and had no knowledge of his birth-parents, was a Holocaust survivor whose parents had been deported from Germany and were later sent to Auschwitz where they perished.
