How to Create Google Alerts

You can use Google Alerts to monitor anything on the web and then have links to any matching content sent directly to your email address each day, or when new content is available.

Setting Up Alerts Step 1 ❱ To get started setting up an alert, navigate to www.google.co.uk/alerts. Enter your query just as if you were doing a normal Google search. You can use the various Google search options, including quotes, minus sign, to exclude words and the site prefix to find specific types of website. Step 2 ❱ Using the Show options menu, you can choose to tell Google to only provide content of a specific type (videos, for example) or you can request that every type of result is sent to you.
