How to Use Google Meet

The COVID-19 pandemic of 2019 inspired great strides in communication apps. One of these was the video chat app Google Meet. Previously only available to Google Workspace users, during lockdown it was made available to everyone for free. It now has over a hundred million users.

Set Up Google Meet You can initiate a Google Meet call directly from the Google Meet app, or through Gmail or chat, and also schedule a meeting through the Calendar app. Here’s a guide to setting up a Google Meet on your Android device. Step 1 ❱ Open the Google Meet app. This is the first screen you will see and it shows your latest activity, which will of course be blank when you first use the app. If you’ve been sent a code with which to launch a Google chat, put it in the top field here.
