While many will argue for the classics such as The Lord of the Rings, by J.R.R Tolkien, or something written by the great William Shakespeare, such as Hamlet, each of these diverse stories-that people worldwide love-have many common attributes. Every great story has an overarching plotline that drives the story forward and gives the characters motivation and a mission, and every great story regardless of point-of-view or worldview has a hero. The story of the Bible is no different. We all long or a hero because we have a Hero who came to save us. His name is Jesus.
