We are at the par-three 17th hole at Sanctuary Lakes and hitting into a strong wind – a very common situation where plenty of players pull up short. It is also very common for people to almost instinctively pull out sand-iron or wedge. But I’m going to teach you a lost art. Often on replays of the British Open, especially among olden-day players, you’ll see guys chipping with four- and five-irons.
