Looking back, the last few years of my amateur career represent some of the most enjoyable times of my golfing life. For one thing, there was no such thing as the World Amateur Rankings, so that never crossed my mind. All I did was find as many tournaments as I could to play in. My focus was on improving as much as I could and as quickly as I could so that I might get the chance to play somewhere other than Australia.
