Two sporting universes came together when superstar of women’s golf Nelly Korda teed off alongside WNBA Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark during The ANNIKA, a Pro-Am event held at the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida. The pair played nine holes together, with Clark showing off her skills on the course despite being more accustomed to basketball than golf. Though her round had its ups and downs, including one near-miss which almost hit a spectator, Korda was impressed by Clark’s game, especially considering how rarely the Indiana Fever guard gets to play. Korda, fresh off a successful season and gunning for her seventh win of the year, kept a close eye on her playing partner’s swings.
