WHEN I THINK ABOUT HOW LONG IT took me to step into myself as an actress, I think I say this with some confidence: Getting older is underrated. I remember one day, young and struggling, walking to wait tables in Chicago. Black pants, white shirt, black tie (as if the job isn’t hard enough, you also had to look like a man).
