Many of us go through life often saying, "If I had known that when I was younger, it would have made my life a whole lot easier." Some of us learn from our experiences, but others just don't know how to make those changes that are needed to have a better life. I have never been one to read big books with hundreds of pages, so when I decided to write this guide I wanted it short and to the point. I don't have a degree in psychology or philosophy. I am just an average guy that has discovered a few things over the years that have helped me improve my life, and I wanted to get that information into this little book. My initial idea was to write this for my family, but after thinking about it more, I decided to share it with anyone willing to take a little time and effort to follow these twelve simple steps to a happier life.
Pappy T. (Tom) Mendicino grew up on a small farm bordering the town of Sewickley, located just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After completing his Navy service at 21, he decided to pursue one of his goals of moving to California. So, he packed up his car and started his cross-country drive to the Golden State. For 35 years life has been great living in Southern California with his family, and dog Zuko. Now retired, he enjoys working outside, taking walks, playing guitar, writing songs, watching documentaries, working on home improvement projects, making homemade pizza and bread, and writing this book!
