Spring cuttings of coleus, dahlia, iresine, pelargoniums, helichrysum, fuchsia and abutilon will soon catch up with slower-growing, over-wintered autumn cuttings. This is a good time for hardy exotics before the tender plants go out. Pittosporum are delicate evergreens originally from New Zealand but are now available with many small, coloured leaves.
