'for now, new york: ' is a poetry collection by Tze Sheng Milton Wong, designed by August Ramos, about New York City, goodbyes, love, grief, pride, and the experiences we all share together. The creation of the book itself is perhaps one of the most 'New York' of stories: Milton and August, once complete strangers who sat next to each other on a bus in late July, dreamed this together by Summer's end.
"These are poems I wrote from engaging with the city's stimuli, sharing conversations with folks, and reflecting on who I've become. Most of this was written in the Summer of 2022, when my time here was coming to an end, for now. New York, if not life, has always been a multitudinous, if sometimes ambivalent, experience. Here I am lucky to explore some of these feelings in words."
