Già da anni in fase di costante diffusione, il padel è diventato uno sport popolarissimo soprattutto in tempi di pandemia, essendo una delle poche attività praticabili rispettando il distanziamento. Il suo segreto? La semplicità, che lo rende appetibile per giocatori di qualsiasi età e condizione fisica. Di seguito, le principali curiosità sullo sport del momento. 1 NATO PER ERRORE. A inventare il padel, nel 1969, fu il messicano Enrique Corcuera, che ebbe l’intuizione osservando il proprio campo da tennis casalingo (di dimensioni ridotte), caratterizzato da muri a ridosso della superficie di gioco.
