One example of the state of the construction industry, is Aveng. Its share price is down 95% over the past decade, having peaked during the Soccer World Cup build excitement, after which it slowly collapsed into a heap. The latest construction results make for very grim reading and many are asking if this might be the time to buy. The most popular point I am hearing is: “How low can it go?” Well, the answer to this is exactly zero – that is the ultimate bottom. Now, whether Aveng or any other construction stock will go bust is moot.
