Are Gladiator Cabinets Battle-Ready? A year ago, I gifted my mother the Gladiator Flex Cabinet System to help her organize the lawn equipment, power tools, paint and other supplies taking over her garage. The unit arrived with the frame prebuilt, so assembly was as simple as installing the shelves and hanging rack and tightening a few screws. Mounting the unit to the wall took some effort, and we had to supply our own mounting hardware, but once secured, the cabinets were ready to hold up to 2,350 lbs. of gear.
