Those familiar with the Engine Masters Challenge are aware that the competition format is changed on a regular basis. This ensures a fresh perspective on the engine-building approach and presents the competition builders with new challenges in achieving the ultimate engine combination within the rules. For last year’s event, we divided the contest into five classes of competition. For 2017, we are sticking with a multiple class format, but tightening the competition to three classes. The new mix of classes includes a supercharged class never before seen at an AMSOIL Engine Masters Challenge event. The lineup will consolidate the competition for traditional hot rod engine types that made the event famous, while retaining the popular Vintage completion, and for the first time include supercharging.
