This issue we bring you a travel special focused on one of the most famous Britons of all time: William Shakespeare. Starting on page 13, we take you on a tour of Warwickshire, the bucolic region where the playwright both grew up and returned to in later life, which is home to thatched villages and creaky-floored inns. Indeed, the area made such an impression on the writer that it frequently made its way into his work.
