Se acerca el verano y las playas se van preparando para recibir a miles de turistas que sueñan con disfrutar del mar. Y como cada año, la Asociación de Educación Ambiental y del Consumidor (Adeac) ha difundido el listado total de las 729 Banderas Azules (627 para playas, 97 para puertos deportivos y 5 banderas han recaído en embarcaciones turísticas). -¿Qué acredita esta distinción? Las banderas azules aseguran la óptima calidad de las aguas de baño y de la arena. Además, aseguran una correcta gestión medioambiental y una limpieza respetuosa con la flora y fauna del entorno; así como la instalación de papeleras y la presencia de equipos de salvamento. -España, en cabeza del ránking.
