Hitting out at those who attacked Sturgeon, Gillian said "lots of people have lots of apologies to make for their harsh words".
She added that she continued to support brother-in-law Murrell "100 per cent" after he appeared in court as part of the police probe yesterday.
Sturgeon announced in January that she and Murrell had separated after 15 years of marriage.
In a video on TikTok, Gillian said: "My sister is and always people proba had jumped to Sturgeon's defence and frankly some peace will be an honest woman.
"Lots of people have lots of apologies to make for their harsh words but she'll never get them.
"My sister is free now from this mess! Can't wait until she leaves Holyrood for the last time! And before anyone replies.
I (100 per cent emoji) support my brother in law.
"Always have and always will." In another post, she shared more comments about the investigation into Sturgeon being dropped, saying: "Always knew my sister was innocent." Murrell, Sturgeon and former SNP treasurer Colin Beattie were arrested in 2023 as part of a probe into how the party spent donations supposedly ring-fenced for a second independence referendum campaign.
The police probe was launched in July 2021 following complaints from members of the public who donated cash to an online fundraiser.
The inquiry exploded into life in April 2023 weeks after Sturgeon quit as first minister - when the home, near Glasgow, she shared with Murrell was searched for two days by officers.
The SNP's headquarters in Edinburgh were also searched, with electronic equipment removed for investigation.
A £100,000 campervan was later seized from outside Murrell's mother's home in Dunfermline.
