The Finn said: “We are definitely sharper now and it’s been going well for us again in terms of results lately.
"It's a lot to do with momentum in this league and we seem to be moving in a positive way again. We've done well, we've started winning and I think we are coming back to the form we showed earlier this season.
"Now it’s important to continue that by going into the international break with a win.”
The omens for that are good as Aberdeen have lost just once in their last 15 visits to Perth.
And the crucial thing for the winger is that his side still have two chances to clinch automatic group stage European football next season.
Ending a 35-year wait to lift the Scottish Cup or clinching the third place finish that looked odds-on earlier in the season clinches that reward.
