And the 62-year-old is the master of overturning first-leg deficits in Europe.
His first comeback came in the UEFA Cup quarter-finals in 2003 when Porto overcame a 1-0 home defeat against Panathinaikos and won 2-0 in Athens to go through and eventually beat Celtic in the Final in Seville.
Encouragingly for Rangers, that was the only time Mourinho has overturned a home first-leg defeat.
He then suffered defeat at Barcelona with Chelsea in 2005 and won 4-2 in London in the Champions League.
He repeated the feat with Chelsea against PSG in 2014....
