When South African chef Amanda Manyatshe embarked on her culinary love affair in Cape Town a few years ago, she was on a personal journey to learn more about her own roots and, in the process, the similarities that bind the African continent and diaspora. Some of Manyatshe’s best work has blossomed to the forefront during the last few months of the pandemic, with recent milestones to include the unexpected feature this year on CNN as an African Voices: Changemaker.
