The two La Joux-Perret-owned brands see plenty of changes this year, including new star models.

Just a month after the fair, La Joux-Perret has announced that Pascal Béchu is taking over Bertrand Savary as executive lead of both Angelus and Arnold & Son with immediate effect. Béchu was deeply involved in the development of the brands’ key releases this year. If nothing else, 2024 will serve as a trial by fire to see if his watchmaking vision for both Angelus and Arnold & Son is welcomed by the industry. Instrument de Vitesse Angelus released the Instrument de Vitesse just prior to the fair. Historically renowned for its beautiful chronographs and movements with long power reserves, this model gently hints at this past. The Instrument de Vitesse (French for ‘speed’ or ‘moving quickly’) is a monopusher chronograph that reminds us of the brand’s watches from the 1920s. But…
