ILLUSIONS BRODÉES Sarah Espeute brode sur la toile des repas où le temps s’est arrêté. Des histoires à la fois étranges, et familières par la matière première qu’elle utilise: des draps en métis anciens, parfois jamais utilisés, que les gens trouvent dans leurs armoires et vendent sur Le Boncoin. Ou qu’un brocanteur déniche désormais pour elle en grandes quantités. Depuis qu’elle est à Marseille, Sarah Espeute a mis en place un réseau comprenant un couturier qui coupe, répare, assemble, une laverie qui lave des centaines de draps avec des produits écologiques, une équipe de brodeurs, souvent artistes de formation, qui travaillent pour elle aux quatre coins de la ville, comme cela se faisait autrefois.
