L'EXPO Aix-en-Provence et Gardanne Entre Aix et Gardanne, c'est une ruche créative, où bourdonnent des artisans aux talents multiples. Fondée en 1836, la Tuilerie Bossy a été transformée par son héritier, Daniel Bossy, en un centre d'artisanat rassemblant quinze ateliers de métiers d'art. « Cet élan méritait de prendre une nouvelle ampleur, raconte le potier Vincent Buffile, ami et voisin de l'entreprise. J'ai donc suggéré de créer un événement dédié à l'art de la terre, et le thème de la transmission, encore peu exploré dans la région, a été choisi. » Deux grandes figures de la céramique, Daphne Corregan et Gilles Suffren, acceptent de parrainer le projet.
