MÉCÈNES DANS L’ÂME, ILS MEUBLÈRENT LEUR VILLA AVEC L’AVANT-GARDE DU DESIGN : EILEEN GRAY, JEAN-MICHEL FRANK, CHARLOTTE PERRIAND… KEVIN DOLCI ET CLÉMENT ROUGELOT ONT DÉCIDÉ DE PERPÉTUER CET ESPRIT AUDACIEUX. SOUS LE LABEL 13DESSERTS, ILS ACCOMPAGNENT ET ÉDITENT DE JEUNES CRÉATEURS EXCENTRIQUES, QUI UTILISENT L’IMPRESSION 3D OU RÉHABILITENT DES MATÉRIAUX INSOLITES.

L’HUMOUR EN PLUS Clément Rougelot travaillait chez le designer Hervé Van der Straeten, et son ami Kevin Dolci, chez Dior. Ces deux garçons dans le vent rêvaient de créer leur propre entreprise, à mi-chemin entre la galerie et l’édition de design. C’est chose faite depuis 2020. S’il garde un pied dans la capitale, le duo a investi un ancien skateshop dans sa ville d’origine, pour y montrer les créations de Clément et une sélection décoiffante de designers émergents. Il a pris une dizaine de jeunes talents sous son aile, parmi lesquels Thomas Defour, Manon Seiler, Antoine Grulier, Marion Mailaender… Dénominateur commun : le goût de l’imprévu et l’art d’apprivoiser des matières insolites, comme la feuille de pierre ou le tuyau de titane. 13 DESSERTS Design édité en pièces uniques ou en petites séries…
