escale N°1 Au large: les îles La légende dit que les filles du prince Olbianus, seigneur d’Olbia (Hyères), qui se baignaient dans la rade, furent transformées en îles pour échapper aux pirates. De fait, Porquerolles, Port-Cros et Le Levant affichent une sororité radieuse: mêmes criques blondes, mêmes parfums de pinède, mêmes fonds cristallins… Chacune a pourtant son atmosphère bien à elle. Classée parc national, Porquerolles jouit d’un environnement totalement préservé. On sillonne à vélo ce royaume fait de maquis et de vignes, d’oliveraies et de vergers entretenus par le Conservatoire botanique. Le littoral est frangé de plages somptueuses: d’Argent, Notre-Dame, calanque de la Treille, où Godard tourna des scènes de Pierrot le Fou … Réserve d’oiseaux, refuge des derniers grands herbiers de posidonie, Port-Cros joue les vigies à la pointe occidentale…
