BRONZE ÉCLAIRÉ Née à Aix-en-Provence, Laura Demichelis est de retour dans son Sud natal. En 2016, elle ouvre son atelier à Toulouse. Le bronze quelle travaille illumine ses pièces de mobilier. Une utilisation peu commune, fonctionnelle et quotidienne, d’un matériau précieux qui la place à mi-chemin entre le design et l’artisanat d’art. Réinventer le bronze, le désacraliser, au fil d’objets qui vivent, se patinent, se marquent, tel est son cheminement. Diplômée de l’École Boulle, passée par les ateliers du designer Hervé Van der Shaeten, Laura a ajouté à l’exigence de sa formation une expérience initiatique en Asie, qui lui a offert une vision décomplexée de son art.
