instant. N°1 Hauterives Un goût inné pour l’architecture: c’est ce qui rapproche Ferdinand Cheval et Agnès Varda, et c’est le sujet de cette exposition logée dans le fameux Palais idéal. Quand le premier édifie son château extraordinaire, la seconde bâtit des cabanes avec les pellicules de ses films. Non habitables, ces «maisons favorites du monde imaginaire», sont avant tout un geste artistique donné en partage. L’exposition présente les mini-cabanes de cinéma fabriquées par Agnès Varda en 2017, puis explore les liens tissés par la réalisatrice avec l’architecture, à travers ses photos, ses cadrages, ses montages. Mais les lieux sont faits pour être traversés et vécus.
