Kota was launched in 2006 by Jude and his late wife Jane, followed by sister restaurant Kota Kai in 2011. Kota and Kota Kai are located on the harbour head at Porthleven, in the heart of the Cornish fishing town. Having relaunched Kota Kai in 2024, Jude has now followed suit with a change of approach in Kota.
