“My daughter has never slept a night without [her teddy bear.]” — Kim Lariviere KEEPING THE FAITH A Heartfelt Reunion Courtney Gelinas lost her teddy bear while fleeing a gunman at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. The Canadian 10-year-old and her family were returning home from a cruise when they got caught in the middle of the shooting on Jan. 6 that killed five. In the chaos, Courtney’s beloved red-hooded stuffed animal, Rufus, got left behind with their baggage. According to her mother Kim Lariviere, the bear was “irreplaceable.” Kim tweeted a photo of the bear at the airport and asked the local sheriff’s office for help. It worked!
