Auction houses are awash with cars from the 1990s and 2000s sitting on the cusp of collectability. Here are some that caught our eye recently

1997 Volvo V90 • WB & Sons, January 25 £4905 Looking smart in plum purple with a tan interior, this 1997 Volvo V90 boasted the 3.0-litre straight-six engine, upgraded audio system, heated leather and air conditioning. Seemingly tidy inside and out and quite the rarity, it nearly doubled its £2500 lower estimate.
