Rally Anglo Caledonian hosted the final rounds of 2024’s British Historic Rally Championship with Escorts pushing hard for top spots.

The new event on the UK historic rallying calendar, Rally Anglo Caledonian, proved to be one of the toughest events of the last decade when Storm Bert arrived just in time to dump up to 6 inches of snow across the special stages being used on the first day. The Carlisle-based event covered 140 forest stage miles in Kielder forest on Saturday and southern Scotland on Sunday and it was like two entirely different rallies. While Saturday was all about snow, ice and then thick fog in the notoriously challenging Kielder, Sunday dawned dry, bright and clear of snow as crews headed into the southern Scotland stages.
