“Right from the start of the project, we’ve been working with automotive designer, Peter Stevens who was brought in to redesign the interior of the Transit, helping to turn it from a 1975 fire service vehicle into a comfortable place people that would want to spend time in,” Mike says. “And once the paint was dry, we could begin creating his unique vision.”
A mixture of off-the-shelf cupboards and bespoke carpentry were used to bring Peter Steven’s vision to life, as well as adding swivel front seats, a table made from a Bentley alloy wheel and a pair of bespoke, curved aluminium chair frames with retro bucket seats.
