We’re sure many of you will remember the custom car scene of the 1970s — a time when jacked-up rear ends, oversized spoilers and crazy paint schemes were the mods to have. The more extreme the better it would seem and as far removed from OEM as possible. “My dad, Andrew was into the custom car scene back in the day,” Liam tells us, “and I hold especially-fond memories of looking around all the cool builds at the hot rod shows held at Billing Aquadrome when I was young, usually with my brother in tow.” As Liam and his brother, Aaron grew into their teens, stories of their dad’s previous projects would be told. “He’d show us pictures and explain how the projects evolved,” Liam recalls, “my dad had some…
