INSURANCE BREAKTHROUGH FOR ELECTRIC CONVERSIONS

Following discussion at the HCVA Heritage Matters Day in October, a round table with electric conversion specialists and Aviva has been convened by HCVA member, Hagerty, to discuss risk assessments and solutions concerning insurance for the growing number of classic converted to electric drivetrains. As a result, Aviva have agreed that Hagerty is now able to provide insurance cover for some electric conversions on their scheme, subject to eligibility considerations.
