GOLF COACH Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro Stefan Schauffele, father and mentor to top PGA Tour pro Xander Schauffele, is a longtime cigar smoker, especially when he’s playing golf. “When I golf it’s Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro,” says Schauffele of his favorite cigar. “It’s the right size, it’s box-pressed, it’s not round and it lies flat and it’s such a consistent product. Very delicious.” He will smoke at least one per nine holes, maybe three for a round when he’s “feeling funny.” He’s also a fan of H. Upmann cigars, which he might smoke for a special occasion.
