It’s been 14 years since the original GT-R broke out into the world and brought with it a whole new generation of Japanese performance car fans. It’s eight years since the first Nismo version of the GT-R was unveiled to the world. Upon release it became the fastest production car around the Nürburgring. There’s a reason why it’s earned the Godzilla nickname among its fanbase, it’s an absolute beast when it comes to performance. Usually in the opening paragraphs we’d talk about what rivals a car has, but as Nissan says ‘the GT-R has no rivals’. Of course, there are similar track focused super coupe’s from the likes of Porsche and Mercedes but none of them combine a front-mounted engine with a well-appointed interior, space for four adults and four-wheel…
