The new Mercedes-AMG GT broadens its base, literally and figuratively.

Did you know that spiders don’t have muscles in their legs? It’s true. Their legs are controlled with what amounts to a hydraulic system of blood. It’s why spiders’ legs curl up postmortem. We’re not saying arachnid anatomy inspired AMG here, but the new Mercedes-AMG GT has standard hydraulic anti-roll control that, when used to its potential, may scare passengers more than a spider crawling on their face. Like the hydraulics seen on Audis and McLarens, circuits that manage roll stiffness link the GT’s wheels. The system can effectively disconnect the anti-roll properties to improve ride or crank up the anti-roll stiffness when you want to corner like you mean it.
