Snyman: I don’t think French crowd will be silenced

From what they’ve seen so far, the Springboks don’t think they will be able to hush the French crowd during Sunday’s World Cup quarter-final in Paris. But they will try and shut the team down to forge a way towards the semi-finals. It will be an expected sold-out Stade de France this weekend when the champions meet the host nation in the last eight (9pm kickoff), and the Boks will not only come up against a strong French team, but a vociferous crowd as well. In 2019 they faced hosts Japan in the quarter-finals of the World Cup and had to deal with a very vocal crowd. But they came through that game easily.
