Running to raise funds to assist child protection organisation

Chevon Booysen chevon.booysen@inl.co.za MATTHEW Grobler, from KwaZulu-Natal, will be running to raise money for vulnerable children. The 21-year-old will run 32km to try to raise R32 000 in aid of child protection organisation, Molo Songololo. He will also be doing it in honour of his aunt, who recently died from Covid-19. “My motivation behind doing this event is to inspire children and youth who come from a background of abuse, as I found myself there too after I had been abused by two father figures. “I know what it is like to struggle and feel vulnerable.
