Accor to bring Adagio aparthotel brand to China

ACCOR'S PLANS to open the first property under its Adagio aparthotels brand in mainland China have been announced. The company was established in 2007 as a joint venture between Accor and the Pierre & Vacances-Center Parcs Group, and currently has a portfolio of nearly 130 properties. The majority of these are located in France and the rest of Europe, although Adagio is also present in countries including Brazil, Morocco, Qatar, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The brand's first sub-Saharan property is also under development in the Ivory Coast, with the forthcoming opening of the 100-key Adagio Original Abidjan Marcory. The first mainland Chinese aparthotel will open in Chengdu by the end of 2025, situated in The Star Lane Urban Commercial Complex in Jianzhou New City, within the Eastern New District of Chengdu.
