Mit dem letzten Text über ihre mittlerweile 75-jährige Freundin muss BRIGITTE WIR-Kolumnistin Nikola Helmreich einräumen: Die Weisheit kommt mit dem Alter

Für meine Freundin, den Silberfisch, ist das, was ich auf dieser Seite schreibe, immer eine Überraschung. Sie bekommt die Texte nie vor der Veröffentlichung zu lesen. Das bescherte mir manchmal einen dezent erzürnten Anruf: „Also, so schlimm ist es wirklich nicht!“, auch mal eine enttäuschte Rückmeldung: „Da hast du schon bessere Texte geschrieben.“ Insgesamt aber schenkte uns diese Kolumne Gesprächsstoff. Ganz egal, welche Stimmung im Nachhinein durch die Telefonleitung kroch. Wir haben über uns gesprochen. Wir haben über Freundschaft gesprochen. Und sind so beieinandergeblieben. Ich glaube wirklich: Diese Texte haben ihren Teil dazu beigetragen. Und wer die Zeilen auf dieser Seite kennt, weiß auch: Die 38 Jahre, die zwischen uns liegen, sind für mich ein Schatz. 38 Jahre, die sie mir voraus ist. Jahre, die sie mit Leben gefüllt hat.…
