NYE TITLER TIL PRINS EDWARD OG HANS FAMILIE

Hvor Harry og Meghans børn har haft titlerne i et stykke tid, er det helt anderledes for Harrys onkel prins Edward og hans familie. På sin fødselsdag den 10. marts fik Edward, 59, en ny titel i gave af storebror kong Charles. Kongen valgte at give prins Edward titlen som hertug af Edinburgh - en titel, som deres far, prins Philip, fik i forbindelse med brylluppet med daværende prinsesse Elizabeth i 1947. Dronning Elizabeth og prins Philip havde lovet deres yngste søn, prins Edward, at når Philip døde, var det ham, der skulle overtage den prestigefulde titel. Men da prins Philip døde i april for to år siden, fik prins Edward ikke titlen med det samme. Ifølge det britiske medie Daily Mail tøvede kong Charles med at tildele en så prestigefyldt titel…
