FOLLOWING A SUCCESSFUL first season, India’s fastest one-make championship returned to Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore, for the 2022 championship. In addition to new sponsors and improvements in the Royal Enfield Continental race motorcycle, the format of the championship also changed. This year 25 motorcycles lined up on the grid to compete in two different championships. Numbers 1 to 10 were riders who contested in the professional category while those from 11 to 25 fought it out in the amateur category. Race One The defending champion, Anish Shetty (Bengaluru), qualified in first place ahead of Navaneeth Kumar (Puducherry) and the previous season’s runner-up, Allwin Xavier (Thrissur).
