Wouldn't it be nice, if you knew how to alter a dress that absolutely love but can't wear it because it is too long or tight? What if you could learn how to hem a slack in less than 30 minutes? I bet you the possibilities are endless and before you know it, your wardrobe will become as big as your imagination. You will be able to wear what you couldn't fit into for years.

It keeps your hand/eye coordination skills sharp and can be a great stress reliever. It's a double edged sword too, as it can be a cause of stress. "But, it's all in perspective," as I say.
My thoughts and opinions on sewing are varied. All I ask is that you bear with me keep an open mind and it will be a fun experience. Keep in mind; there is more than one way of doing things. You will find your own way.

When I first learned how to cut strips of bias tape, I found it to be too time-consuming. Instead of sticking with the method I originally learned, I sought out a different way of making them. Now, some people find this way to be faster, and some think the opposite.
Once again, it's all in my perspective. I do know that it's the way I have come to prefer to make my bias strips now.
