This is a true story of the first ten years of my life in an old fashion small Midwestern town where no one locked their door, where children played unattented in the woods and creek. This creek eventually destroyed the village. There are early indictors that I would be gay and these are talked about, like playing with dolls, playing doctor with a naked boy. Bullying and name calling are also issues addressed. The story has a strong, positive ending to give hope to possible queer kids.
